Haloween Costumes

Mindy's mom I'll call her Sandie saddled us all in the car and off we went.After a few minuets of driving or so, .we came to a halt.By this time I am bitter cold and freezing.There was no heater in the car.It was a blue long and old station wagon.Anyway, she tells us to get out.It was a weird street dark and gloomy. She told us to run over to the house that the lights were on.Because, they were giving out candy.Only the houses with the lights on were giving out candy.Well, Steve exclaimed"I'm not going in there and Mindy screamed "me either"! Sandie said with a sad expression on her face"I took all the trouble and time to take you trick-or-treating and you don't even want to go up to the door? So, I say" lets huddle".So we huddled.Thats what kids did in the those days we huddled about everything.I said to Mindy and her brother"look we are already frozen so we might as well get some candy".They agreed.We walked up to the house frozen and full of fear.We all knocked on the door and said in unison" trick-or-treat".After about a minute or two a ltitle old lady came out and said"my don't you look cute.Threw the candy in our bags and off we went to the next house.

After about ten minuets we started complaing about being cold.Sandie was getting aggravated.She kept saying "only a couple more houses and were going".After we got used to trick-or-treating, we liked it.So, now we don't want to get going.Okay Sandie said "just one more house".Okay we said as steam came out as we talked."Okay"she said so she piled us back in the car.Off we went to a different street.

When we arrived.It was bitter cold.So, Sandie said "this is the last house".It was a large house dark and creepy looking.It had more than one staircase.So we started up the stairs.We knocked on the door and said "trick-or-treat "A large odd looking fellow bellowed "What do ya want?We all screamed and went running down the stairs.Out to the car and got in that car as fast as we could.Sandie had a huge smile on her face."Did you have fun she asked?If she only knew what I was thinking.
