Marvel Ultimate Alliance Walkthrougha complete game guide, covering every aspect of every level, location of the many daredevil/black panther action figures and much, much moreThis is a fully detailed game guide on 2006's super hero action role-playing game Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. Our walkthrough covers everything from levels/areas, boss fights with tips/strategies to location of every daredevil/black panther action figure and even the achievement list with tips.
General Gameplay Tips - When beginning a new game, hit Back to enter the character menu. Turn off the automatic power and equipment assignments to allow specific control over the development of your favorite heroes.
- Destroy objects in each level environment to gain health, energy and credits.
- The blue S.H.E.I.L.D. symbols on the ground are for saving the game, replacing teammates, changing costumes and extracting the team to a safe zone. It's also used for reviving fallen teammates after the mandatory five-minute death penalty.
- Try to focus on upgrading only one costume for a particular character. The upgrades grow by 1000 credits on each tier.
- A hero can only use one piece of gear at a time. Assign gear that fits the fighting style of the teammate. For instance the Asgard Armor is excellent for Storm. It boosts her elemental power damage.
- Purchase extreme AOE powers for all four teammates early in the game. The A.I. doesn't automatically purchase these powers until the final couple of levels. You have the ability to use all four AOE powers at once when your team has enough momentum. Simply hold RT and press Y to unleash the devastating attacks.
- When in the character skill allotment menu, focus on building up a few attacks to powerful levels rather than several attacks to a moderate level. This strategy helps tremendously toward the end of the game.
- Action figures for Daredevil and Black Panther are located in nearly every level. After you reach the required five figures to unlock each character, the game replaces the action figure spots in future levels with a green XP symbol. Pick these up for bonus experience points.
- Sell gear specific to superheroes. It's generally vastly weaker than the items dropped by the mini-bosses.
- Use combos by alternating between the B and A buttons. Look for specific combos to appear over enemy heads in the later stages of the game.
- Try to keep a flying character on the team at all times. Flying often comes in handy during boss battles and passing over precarious obstacles. Flying is activated by double clicking the Y button.
Bonus Team Power - Specific teams are awarded bonuses in the form of health, energy, XP, credits, accuracy and a variety of other advantages. A couple of the teams have to wear specific costumes to activate the bonus. Here is a list of the bonus team powers:

S.H.I.E.L.D. Heli-Carrier - CUTSCENE: The opening cinematic pans over the S.H.I.E.L.D. heli-carrier under attack. Colonel Nick Fury is seen screaming at his men when Dr. Doom contacts Fury and orders his immediate surrender. Not giving up his ship to the likes of Dr. Doom, Nick Fury calls in a team of meta-humans for support. Captain America, Thor, Spider-Man and Wolverine show up immediately and split up to assault Doom's forces. Spider-Man latches onto a nearby attacking ship, Wolverine leaps off the carrier to attack a passing gunship, Thor uses the power of a lightning strike to blow up a gunship and Captain America is seen fighting off Doom's robots on the carrier itself.
Furious - As the level opens, the super team in the cinematic is the starting crew for this level. (You will be able to customize your team later in the level.)
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance S.H.I.E.L.D. from GamesPress - Take a moment to get acclimated to the control scheme. The D-Pad switches between the four characters. Hit A for a quick attack, B for a powerful attack, X to grab, Y to jump and LB to block. Taping Y a second time activates a double jump, swinging or flying abilities.
- Holding LT opens the teammate directives menu in the top left hand corner. Use the D-Pad to alternate between aggressive, defensive, assistance and normal modes.
- Holding RT opens the special attack menu for that character. This menu uses the multi-colored buttons on the controller to activate attacks with a higher level of damage.
- Walk up the ramp and enter the first room by pressing X to open the door. Although the camera is an overhead view, the interior of the room is faded until doors are opened.
- Use quick attacks to dispatch the Ultron warriors inside the room and on the platform below. These enemies are weak and easily destroyed with speedy movements.
- Follow the ramps along the linear path and use the special attack when prompted by the game. Try to avoid the streams of fire shooting from the nearby piping.
- When a green laser attacks the team's position, watch for a prompt about using the block function (LB). You will need this skill for the upcoming mini-boss battle.
The Scorpion's Sting - The team faces off against Spider-Man's nemesis, Scorpion. This battle is generally simple, but beware of Scorpion's tail swinging attack. Scorpion charges up into an attack that swings his tail 360 degrees. It knocks back the entire team in the process.
- Use quick attacks on Scorpion as well as special attacks. If Scorpion moves into a blocking position, retreat and wait for his release. Attacks do little damage to characters that use block.
- The fight takes about 30 seconds with numerous quick attacks. Once Scorpion is vanquished, pick up Scorpion's Tail by pressing X. It's an item of gear that offers a +10% chance to cause knockdown on ranged attacks. It can be equipped in the character menu by pressing the Back button.
- TIP: After the fight, take a moment to assign points to the characters. Don't be afraid to try new attacks in the special menu.
- Head up the nearby stairs and kill the remaining five Ultron warriors along the path. Hit X to rise up to the command deck at the dead end.
Nuclear Disaster - After the brief conversation with Fury, take the elevator directly behind the team off the command bridge. Look for a glowing teal S.H.E.I.L.D. symbol on the ground ahead. Use this spot to save your game and change out for different team members.
- Walk into the nearby room to face off against the first Ultron striker. The striker fires an array of explosive rounds at the team. Avoid this attack by jumping over the flaming particles. Quick attacks are the best method for dispatching the strikers.
- The Ultron men destroy a power supply that keeps a force field barrier ahead open. Move to the device and hold X to grab it. Pull it away and grab the replacement power unit just to the left. Move the unit into the power station to open the passage ahead.
- Click the red switch to open the door and move to the opposite side of the room. Follow the path to fight three more strikers. Once the team reaches another set of stairs leading down, look for the health regeneration striker. Kill him first to avoid a lengthy battle.
- Move through the metal rooms until the team reaches a pair of ladders. Click X to use the ladder. Be ready for a group of warriors and strikers at the top of the ledge.
- The path diverges ahead, but the team has to explore both sides. Go left or right to fight off three or four strikers. At the end of the path, look for a red X on the map. It marks a console that has to be destroyed to halt the nuclear missile launch. Repeat this step on the opposite path.
- Unfortunately the team doesn't destroy both consoles in time and one missile is launched. A time limit pops up on the left hand side of the screen. Follow the path back around to launch into the team's second boss battle.
Bullseye's Target - Bullseye is a smarter boss than Scorpion and uses the block function more effectively. Take out the two Ultron strikers first and allow the teammates to attack Bullseye.
- Use special attacks to break through Bullseye's defenses. Wolverine's Claw Slash is excellent for wearing down his life bar. Try to pin Bullseye in a corner of the room to avoid his ranged attacks.
- Once Bullseye is defeated, pick up the Assassin's Sight gear. It offers a +5% chance of Criticals during ranged attacks.
- Walk into the small control room and press X at the panel to self-destruct the nuclear missile. Walk to the lower level in that room to reach the barracks.
S.O.S. - Access the nearby S.H.E.I.L.D. point on the left to save or switch up the team. Pick up the Black Widow's Laptop just north of the save point. Walk up the stairs ahead and take a left into the first room. Be careful of red laser that trips explosives.
- Position one team member at the console marked with a green X and switch to another superhero. Position the second man at the opposite console and press X to jointly release the barriers holding the nearby-imprisoned guards.
- Take a right into a room with two Ultron strikers on the upper level. Walk down the stairs to face the first Doom Bot. Doom Bots shoot a red laser out of their eyes from a distance. Move in close to negate that advantage.
- The path ahead is blocked by blue lasers. Jump outside the craft through the window that the first doom bot appeared. Race left around the area to destroy four more doom bots, including a health regeneration model.
- Continue around the outside of the craft and walk up the stairs to battle a duo of villains: Radioactive Man and Winter Soldier. For the moment, simply use special attacks to damage the pair of super-villains. The fight is cut short when Doom calls and they run away.
- Destroy the Doom Bots in the upper level of the room and follow the super-villains. Be careful of the red laser trip wires. At the dead end, the pair will call in four Ultron strikers to attack the team.
- TIP: After dispatching the strikers, use double jump to reach the platform the strikers emerged from. There is a Strike upgrade in front of the blue lasers. Striking upgrades are excellent for melee characters.
- Use double jump to reach the opposite side of the room. Fight off the barrage of Doom Bots and Ultron Strikers. Follow the path to the right to continue the chase of Radioactive Man and Winter Soldier.
- The super-villain fight continues outside. The strategy for this battle is to take Winter Soldier out with a melee character first. Wolverine is excellent for this task. Allow the team to focus on Radioactive Man during this process.
- Use special ranged attacks on Radioactive Man. He will launch into a protective blocking mode that cannot be pierced without special attacks. Iron Man is excellent for this task as well as Captain America with shield attacks.
- At the end of the fight, pick up the Bionic Arm from Winter Soldier. This is an excellent item for a melee character as it adds +5 points to striking. Also pick up Radioactive Touch. It adds +5% of melee damage as radiation.
- TIP: Double jump to the platform on the right side of the outdoor area to pick up a body upgrade. This upgrade increases a character's health.
- Backtrack to the portion of the hallway that diverged and hang a right to reach the Upper Batteries.
Dragon's Fire - Walk through the first two rooms killing Ultron Warriors and Doom Bots. They are staggered throughout the winding hallway. It's unlikely that the team will fight more than three at a time.
- TIP: When the team arrives at the point to walk outside, destroy the surrounding crates and barrels to regain health.
- Hit X to travel outside. Once outside, a giant dragon named Fin Fang Foom attacks the heli-carrier. Hit block immediately to negate any damage from his opening fireball attack.
- After the first attack, Fin Fang will fly up in the air and dive bomb the team with streams of fire. Take a team member to the north end of the arena and press X to grab the large energy turret. As Fin Fang passes overhead, press A repeatedly to shoot him.
- Once Fin Fang is noticeably hit, retreat from the gun and fight off the Ultron warriors. When Fin Fang reappears, use special attacks to wear down the health of the beast. Be careful of its sweeping melee attack and floor pounding attack.
- Fin Fang eventually flies off again and can be shot by the turret again. Repeat this cycle until the beast is dead. Before heading back to the bridge, pick up the Dragon's Heart. It offers +25 health points and a 3% critical chance on all attacks.
Stark Tower - CUTSCENE: The team is sitting in Stark Tower waiting for Iron Man. S.H.E.I.L.D. has allowed the superheroes to team up and take down Dr. Doom. Tony Stark donated his tower as the home base of operations.
- There are no enemies to battle in Stark Tower. There are plenty of story related tasks to begin, upgrades strewn about and hidden objects to find.
- TIP: Move to the right corner of the room to find a red Body upgrade on the upper level. On the opposite side of the room, there is a focus upgrade on a similar upper level. The Focus upgrade increases energy points and energy regeneration. Finally, there is a yellow Strike upgrade sitting on a small table to the right of Wyatt Wingfoot.
- On the opposite side of the room from the Strike upgrade, pick up Tony Stark's cuff links on the table. They will be useful the next time the team arrives in Stark Tower. There's also a piece of collectible artwork near Wyatt Wingfoot.
- Use the S.H.E.I.L.D. point to save the game and switch the characters on the team if you choose. This is a good time to experiment with different super-teams. Check the Special Super-Teams section for information on specific bonuses.
- Talk to The Vision working on the Trivia computer to start a brief sub mission. Retrieve the decryption module from Black Widow on the middle platform and return it to The Vision to complete the mission.
- Talk to Hank Pym nearby to activate a quest that will take place in the upcoming mission. Hank wants you to find his cybernetic helmet at the Omega Base.
- Before leaving Stark Tower, you may want to finish the questions on the trivia machine. They can also be finished after the Omega Base mission. Answering all the questions is worth 2500xp and it's also achievement related. Here are the answers to the first fifty questions:

- The Valley of Spirits
- Save the game, finalize your team and talk to Wyatt Wingfoot to fly to the Omega Base. If you picked up Black Widow's laptop in the previous mission, the team will give it to Wyatt for inspection before leaving.
Omega Base - CUTSCENE: Fury is flying the heroes to the Omega Base to find out what happened to Dum Dum Dugan, an informant inside the base. There's also a chance the team will run into Bruce Banner (The Hulk). He's working on the Omega Bomb project in the area.
Resuming Control - Dum Dum Dugan is standing in the first room. After a short chat, the team is tasked with keeping him alive while moving to Central Control. He can take care of himself, but use quick attacks to dispatch enemies before he gets seriously hurt.
- The team faces groups of AIM soldiers armed with guns and batons in the Omega Base. They don't use block attacks and can be killed as quickly as the Ultron warriors. Move through the passage until a Super Soldier crashes through the wall.
- The Super Soldier's have been injected with a serum to give them a Hulk-like appearance. They rely on brute force and melee attacks. Use ranged attacks to wear down their health.
- After encountering the Super Soldier, the team enters a large room with a drive shaft ahead. Take out the Super Soldier to the left first. After he is dead, destroy the drive shaft with the little arrow above it.
- TIP: Before crossing to the opposite side, walk down the stairs to the right of the drive shaft. Press X to pick up the first Daredevil action figure. (1/5)
- On the opposite side of the room, fight several more AIM soldiers and destroy a second drive shaft. Climb the stairs for a brief comment from Dum Dum.
- TIP: After the comment, walk into the hallway on the right to pick up Captain America's Simulator disc. Walk into the hallway on the left to pick up a red Body upgrade.
- Continue around either hallway to fight four AIM soldiers and a Super Soldier. In the following room, the team will face off against Crimson Dynamo. Crimson Dynamo can be very dangerous for melee characters. He takes the energy from melee attacks and channels it into a fiery blast off his body.
- Use ranged attacks or perhaps melee attacks from a distance. Watch Crimson Dynamo charge up and leap away from his position to avoid the blast. After he falls, pick up Deadpool's Wristbands. (+1 Damage, +1 to Assassin Strike)
- Destroy the two nearby drive shafts after the fight with Dynamo. Take Dum Dum into the next room and he departs from the team.
A Long Way to the Top - There is a S.H.E.I.L.D. point in the center of the room if needed. There is a new type of enemy in the upcoming hallway. Shielded enemies can only be damaged from behind. You can also hit X to grab the shield and tap A to pull it away from the solider.
- Fight off the three shielded soldiers as well as three Super Soldiers ahead. Walk to the open doorway to exit to the Omega Exterior. Move along the outside corridor to the right until the chopper appears.
- The rocket fire from the chopper is very easy to dodge. Simply avoid the red glowing targets on the corridor floor. Shielded enemies will attack as the team passes through the area.
- Beware of the AIM Reavers along the path. They are flying devices that rip into the heroes with spinning blades. Attack them quickly to avoid their stunning attacks.
- Follow the corridor until the team reaches the Project Labs door. Press X to go back inside the Omega Base. Be sure to save at the upcoming S.H.E.I.L.D. point.
- Walk through the first set of doors to kill two Reavers. Head into the second set to face off against four Super Soldiers. Use ranged attacks on the group if having trouble.
- Walk up the stairs and into the door on the left. Bruce Banner is inside and waiting for rescue. Dum Dum warns the team of a gamma bomb that's been triggered and Bruce will run off to find it.
- TIP: Before following Bruce out the door, pick up the cybernetic helmet for Hank Pym. It's on a desk in the far corner of the room.
- Find Bruce across the hallway and run into the gamma bomb room to fight off two Super Soldiers. Bruce runs in to check on the bomb. He needs the team to find a control panel and activate a security function to control the bomb.
- Walk across the hall to fight off Super Soldiers. Check the first door on the right to pick up Wolverine's Simulator disk as well. Continue to the end of the hall to fight two Reavers and two Super Soldiers. The console is found in this room.
- Walk down the unexplored hall from the previous room to find two more Super Soldiers. Kill both and open the door at the end of the hallway. It's time to fight Mysterio.
- Mysterio is an extremely tough boss due to his ability to stun heroes and create multiple copies of himself. Mysterio immediately creates two duplicates of himself before attacking the team. There's no way to tell them apart unfortunately.
- Use special attacks to take down Mysterio and his clones. Also try to switch characters when stunned. Mysterio doesn't block attacks, so unleash with all the quick attacks you can muster. Once he's dead, pick up the Master Hologram for a 10% chance to dodge melee attacks.
- After killing Mysterio, exit to the right of the room and look for a door on the left. There is a Strike upgrade inside the locker room. Exit to the right and take the Primary Lift up.
- At the team rides the lift, AIM soldiers repel down from above. The team also faces off against a couple Super Soldiers. Use quick attacks to clear the lift expediently.
- The soldiers also drop bombs onto the lift that have to be defused. Simply walk up to a bomb and press X to enter the defusing mode. It's a quick action instance of timed button presses.
- After the lift stops, walk to the right and open a brown metal door. Stop the Super Soldiers inside the room from destroying the computer at the far end. Use quick attacks to tear apart the enemies. They are more focused on destroying the computer than your team.
- Once the computer is safe, head back outside and walk right to ride another lift. The team will face the same situation as the previous lift. Keep fighting off the soldiers and defusing bombs until the lift comes to a halt.
Top Deck - A S.H.I.E.L.D. agent wants you to use an anti-aircraft gun on a chopper ahead. Follow the path to kill any shielded soldiers and Reavers in the way. Once the chopper appears to block your path, walk up the stairs and around the corner.
- Grab a large block in the corner with X and push it over the ledge. It will shatter the glass below. Fall into the now open room and click X to go back inside the facility.
- TIP: Once inside, look for a Black Panther action figure on the left in the first room. (1/5)
- Pass through the indoor segment and kill four shielded soldiers. On the opposite side of the room, head back outside. The chopper will be dropping off several shielded soldiers to fight the team.
- Take the soldiers in groups and avoid walking too far ahead on the path. When the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent contacts you again, the team has about 45 seconds to take out the chopper.
- Instead of fighting the men around the anti-aircraft gun, simply jump down and take immediate control of the gun. Unlike the encounter with Fin Fang, there is no need to shoot it manually.
- After the chopper blows up, kill the remaining soldiers and head up the stairs. There will be sporadic resistance along the upcoming hallway. Pass through it to reach the final boss, M.O.D.O.K.
- The team has to answer trivia questions to reach the boss. The game picks one of the three following sets at random. He asks 3 to 5 questions depending on the difficulty level of the game. Here are all the question and answer sets:
- Question set 1
- What is the atomic symbol for gold? Au
- What percentage of the Earth's atmosphere is oxygen? 21%
- Which of the following is not a Geologic period of the Earth? Neoprene
- What does M.O.D.O.K. stand for? Mental Organism Designed Only For Killing
- Which of these is capable of escaping a black hole? Nothing
- Question set 2
- What force holds you to the Earth? Gravity
- Who is Loki the true son of? Laufey
- In which type of matter are atoms most tightly packed? Solid
- What is the speed of light? 186, 282.397 miles per second
- Which of the following animals is not a marsupial? Platypus
- Question set 3
- How far is the Earth from the Sun? 8.3 Light Minutes
- What is the half-life of Strontium 90? 29.1 years
- Which of the following is not a subatomic particle? Fumf
- Which race exterminated itself with technology from The Watchers? Prosilicans
- Which is not a measurement of time? Ion
- M.O.D.O.K. is a pushover after his question session. Hit him with a barrage of quick and special attacks. Be careful of his red blasting attack though. It knocks back the entire team from the platform.
- Once he is vanquished, pick up the MODOK Chip. It offers an increase of 5% XP. Use the console to end the level.
Stark Tower II - Before doing anything, save at the S.H.E.I.L.D. marker. Talk to Hank Pym to return the helmet you found at the Omega Base. Now head into the waterfall section of Stark Tower to enter a new portion of the base, Iron Man's Lab.
- Jarvis and Weasel will talk to you upon entering. Weasel needs you to speak to The Vision to find the password for hacking the Black Widow's laptop. Speak to Jarvis after the conversation to return the cuff links.
- Feel free to speak to any heroes in the lab and be sure to pick up Iron Man's Simulator disc off the table. There is some artwork on the ledge above as well.
- TIP: Look under the metal set of stairs closest to the lab exit. There is a Black Panther action figure underneath it. (2/5)
- Head back out to the main section. Talk to The Vision, Black Widow and Nick Fury about the password. Go back into the lab and tell Weasel that the password is Gabriel Jones
- Talk to Wyatt Wingfoot. He asks you to speak to Hank Pym about the Quinjet's data feed. Talk to Hank Pym and finalize the team before heading to Atlantis. Speak to Wyatt to leave Stark Tower.
Atlantis - CUTSCENE: Captain America gives the briefing about trouble in Atlantis. Namor has been overthrown from the throne and the underwater city is in uproar.
- Before the level begins, the game launches into the team setup mode. By creating a custom super-team, you can gain Team skill points for every Team level achieved. Team level can be raised by simply playing as the created team and earning reputation points.
- Team skills include boosts of health, energy, damage, experience and momentum. Team points can be spent at any point in the character menu. It's advised to use a team that already has a special bonus and build upon it.
Riot in Atlantis - At the entry point to Atlantis, your newly named super-team has nannites installed in their bodies. It's necessary for underwater travel in Atlantis. Before leaving this room, pick up the Focus upgrade on the ledge opposite the door.
- Hit X at the door to enter the underwater connection tube. Walk to the opposite side and hit X to enter the dive chamber.
- TIP: Look on the opposite end of the dive chamber to find a Black Panther action figure next to a large pipe. (3/5)
- Use the nearby dive center controls to open up the diving hatch. Once underwater, fight off the four Atlanteans and travel north. The Atlanteans are on par with the previous low-level enemies.
- When fighting the Atlantean females, look for displayed button combos to end the fight quickly. Attacking with the combo disarms them as well.
- Swim forward until reaching Namor's position. Fight off the remaining defenders to free him from his prison. Press X at the console to flood the oxygen filled chamber with water.
- After talking with Namor's cousin, she obviously needs help with three tasks. The team must find seaweed to heal Namor, destroy the sonic emitters that are driving Atlanteans crazy and remove the illegitimate Attuma from the throne.
Mission of Mercy - Head into the Temple of Negrete entrance to collect seaweed for Namor. Once inside the temple, destroy the wall to the left for a Skill point. Skill points can be added to any skill of a specific character.
- Swim into the large room and pick a fight with the armored Atlanteans. These underwater dwellers are simple to defeat with quick attacks. Take the hallway to the right first and fend off more armored Atlanteans.
- At the end of the hallway, look for a red X on the radar. It marks the location of an Eye of Negrete. Collect it and move to the hallway on the left side of the main room.
- Fight off more underwater warriors and open the giant clam at the end of the short hallway. Look inside to find another Eye of Negrete. In the same room, look for a wall to the right of the clam that can be broken open. Mr. Fantastic's Simulator Disc is waiting inside.
- Travel through the rear passage to fight Atlanteans in the right hallway. At the end of the right hallway, look for the Trident Tip. Explore the only remaining passage to place the pearls on either side of the statue and attach the Trident Tip as well.
- Swim into the newly opened chamber and fight the last group of Atlanteans in the temple. Take the rare seaweed by pressing X and travel through the whirlpool back to Namor's location.
- Give the seaweed to Namor's cousin to be awarded reputation points for the team. (It also affects the ending to the game.) It's a good idea to make a portal back to Stark Tower (Press Start) and save the game before launching into the Atlantean Trenches.
The Sound of Insanity - Watch out for the floating mines in the Atlantean Trenches. One explosion is devastating to a teammate. Just stay away from the Y button until the trench has been cleared.
- Fight off a group of armored Atlanteans and approach the first sonic emitter. It's being guarded by Byrrah and Krang. Focus on Byrrah first and drain that energy meter with numerous special attacks. Krang is much simpler to defeat without Byrrah's help.
- Pick up the Crown of Byrrah after the battle. It adds +2 points to Body, Focus and Strike. Make sure to destroy the first sonic emitter as well.
- Take the path to the left and be careful of the mines. Fight the scattered forces to find the second sonic emitter ahead. There is also a Strike upgrade just to the right of the emitter.
- After destroying the second emitter, move towards the final red X on the radar. Be sure to use the nearby save point along the path. Dispatch any errant forces and attack the final sonic emitter.
- Before traveling inside the palace, look along the upper path for an Atlantean stuck in a giant clam. Free him and the team is rewarded with the combination to a nearby safe. The safe near the save point is surrounded by mines and a broken submarine.
- TIP: Open the safe to find coins, health, energy, Ms. Marvel's Uniform and a Daredevil action figure. (2/5)
- After unlocking the safe, move northwest to the palace entrance and go inside.
Battling the Barbarian King - Once inside the palace, take either the left or right hallways. They both lead to the same place. At the opposite side, save the game and proceed into the main chamber.
- Fight the scattered troops and travel to the opposite side of the room. After watching Attuma and Tiger Shark speak, grab the glowing pearl and head north into the next chamber.
- Place the pearl on the podium in the center of the chamber. Fight off the guards that spawn and travel into the chamber on the right. There is a giant whirlpool in the middle of the room. Furiously click Y to pass over the whirlpool unharmed and grab the pearl on the opposite side.
- Repeat this process on the opposite side of the main chamber. Take the two pearls to the closed door in the main chamber and place each one on the nearby podiums.
- The team enters into a boss fight against Tiger Shark and Attuma. The trick to killing these two villains quickly is using the podiums on both sides of the arena. They create suction in the nearby vents.
- Hit the podium switch and travel into the vent area. The duo of villains are sucked down to the floor level and become much simpler to destroy. Use special attacks on Attuma to get past his continual blocking.
- TIP: Remember to alternate using the vent controls on both sides of the room. Each console has to recharge before using it again.
- Pick up Attuma's Wrath (25% more power damage) and the Hydro Suit (+10 Health and Energy per knockout) before entering the Defender's Crypt.
The Secret of the Crypts - Travel along the only path and fight off the armored Atlanteans. Use strong attacks to defeat the enemy forces quickly and efficiently.
- TIP: Past the aging fossils, look for a red Body upgrade on the left side.
- Follow the path to the arena and enter by pressing X. Once inside, listen to Mandarin's little speech and prepare to fight a massive sea monster.
- It's impossible to damage the Kraken by simply hitting it. Wait until the Kraken strikes one of the pillars. It's attempting to release a group of Atlanteans to kill the team.
- Once the pillar has been cracked up, swim inside to launch a quick action button press mini-game. If you are successful, the Kraken hits the pillar and causes it to crash upon its head.
- Kill the Atlanteans in the area and the Kraken will break open the next pillar of armored men. Repeat the quick action instance three more times to destroy the Kraken.
- Be sure to pick up the Blood of the Kraken gear before leaving the palace. It offers +5% health at the expense of -5% energy.
Stark Tower III - Talk to Nick Fury to open a new mission. He wants you to bring back schematics for Ultimo hidden in Mandarin's Palace.
- Head into Iron Man's Lab to speak to Weasel about Black Widow's laptop. He's been able to crack some of the security, but needs help again. Head back out into the main lobby to talk to Hank Pym and The Vision about it. Go back into the lab and tell Weasel that he can trust C.B. Cebulski.
- TIP: This is the last time you can finish up the trivia questions. It's also a good idea to knock out a few Simulator disk missions. They ramp up in difficulty at the game progresses.
- Head to Wyatt Wingfoot and ask him to fly the crew to Mandarin's Palace.
Valley of Spirits - CUTSCENE: Dr. Doom is speaking to Loki in Doom's palace. Loki tricked the team into thinking that he was Mandarin. This means the Valley of the Spirits is a trap. Loki goes into a lengthy diatribe about Thor, but Doom silences him.
The Rings of Mandarin - Walk into the Ancient's Hall and begin by fighting a new low-level enemy, the Shaolin Monks. Clay warriors also attack the team. Use quick attacks to kill both efficiently.
- Follow the winding temple passage until reaching a fight with Dragonman. Use a flurry of melee attacks to tear apart Dragonman and pick up the Dragon's Polymer. It offers a +25% boost to defense at the expense of energy.
- Continue along the hallway to reach a barrage of Clay warriors and monks. Pass through the doors of the palace to reach a battle with Ultimo. Use the same strategy as fighting Dragonman, but watch out for Ultimo's foot stomping attack.
- After the short battle, pick up Ultimo's Plating. It offers a 10% chance to reflect projectiles and a +50% boost to defense. It's great for a melee character.
- TIP: Pick up the Strike upgrade along the Ultimo walkway. It's behind a pit of fire.
- After the Ultimo battle, continue into the next room. A locked door blocks the passage. As the team reaches the door on the left, monks begin spawning all over the room. Use quick attacks to take them out.
- Eventually the monks stop spawning and a group of three monks open the locked doors. Fight them and use the save point in the next room. Take the stairs up to the Golden Court.
- Run around the large room to destroy all the fragile clay warriors at the top of the stairs. Move to the opposite side of the room and exit into a new hallway. The team reaches a room with spinning blades on both sides and a group of clay warriors.
- Avoid the blades by staying in the center of the room. Kill the health regeneration clay warriors first and the rest fall easily. Follow the passage into another large room filled with clay warriors.
- Run all over the room destroying the pitiful clay warriors. Look for a long set of stairs leading to an upper level on the left side of the room. Follow it up and jump to the platform on the right side. There is a room with The Thing's simulator disc inside.
- On the opposite side of the room from The Thing's disc, look for a room marked with a red X. Search inside to find Ultimo's blueprints for Nick Fury.
- Continue north through a second room with spinning blades and clay warriors. The team reaches a room filled with dragon statues spitting fire. The key is to follow the platform and time your jumps when the fire isn't spouting from the dragons. You can also use a flying character to bypass all the platforms.
- TIP: Before leaping from platform to platform, jump to the lower level and pick up another Daredevil action figure in front of one of the fire breathing dragons. (3/5)
- Pass through another hallway of clay warriors to reach a tough battle with Grey Gargoyle. His melee attacks can temporarily freeze characters in stone and he spawns Shaolin Healers to fix any damage taken from the heroes.
- Use ranged attacks to defeat Gray Gargoyle and try to keep him at one end of the room. This allows the team distance from the healers when they spawn. Kill any healers immediately before refocusing on Grey Gargoyle.
- Pick up Stone Touch after the battle. It offers a 3% chance of turning victims into stone. Follow the passage to reach the Celestial Hall.
Celestial Hall - Inside the hall, fight off monks that spawn on the floor below. The gate ahead is blocked by two locks. Take the left passage in the main room to find the first puzzle.
- Kill the monks scattered around the room first. Find the two large wooden cubes in the room, hold X to grab and move them to of the yellow pressure plates in the floor. Stand on the third plate to trigger a lever ahead. Pull the lever to release one of the locks on the outside gate.
- Proceed back into the main hall and take the passage to the right. The team is locked inside a room and forced to fight numerous monks. Move the two wooden cubes in the center of the room over the spawns to end the fight quickly. Pull the lever when it appears.
- Head back to the main hall and down the newly opened passage. Use the save point before the team faces a second battle with the Ultimo robot. Use any AOE attacks on the new robot to kill it quickly. Pick up Elektra's Bands after the fight. (+2 Damage, +1 Nerve Strike)
- TIP: At the top of the stairs in the Ultimo room, pick up a Focus upgrade on the left and a Body upgrade on the right.
- Proceed into the Forbidden Passage at the top of the stairs.
Forbidden Passage - Run through the opening hallway to reach Dr. Strange battling a group of monks. Lend a hand in fighting the monks. After the fight, he mentions that he's looking for the Orb of Agamotto. Dr. Strange join the team at this point to look for the Orb.
- Continue along the linear passage and fight off any monks that spawn in the area. Look for a hallway with spinning blades. Crimson Dynamo's Simulator disc is sitting in the middle of the blades.
- Follow the passage to a large room and fight off the attacking monks. Move to the opposite side and along the hallway that eventually dead-ends. The Orb of Agamotto is in a chest marked with a red X on the radar. Dr. Strange leaves the party at this point.
- Exit back to the main room and walk through the passage that just opened. Fight off the monks that appear and walk down the hallway with Buddha statues. The exit to Mandarin's Court is just ahead.
- TIP: Break apart the second Buddha statue on the left. Smash the spinning blades to find a Black Panther action figure. (4/5)
- Once inside Mandarin's Court, a new boss battle begins. In the first portion of the fight, watch for two attacks. He uses a whirlwind to immobilize the team and ice to lock them in place. Use ranged attacks to lower his health below 75%.
- After Mandarin is damaged, he retreats to the overhead walkway and releases explosive bugs after the team. Destroy one bug and he releases mini versions of Ultimo.
- The trick to reaching Mandarin is leading an explosive bug into the yellow glowing chamber that the mini Ultimo robots spawn from. This destroys the robot spawn and the team can use it to teleport to Mandarin's position.
- Repeat this three more times to drive Mandarin to the floor below. Use any remaining AOE attacks or special attacks to end the battle quickly.
- After the battle is over, pick up the White Ring of Mandarin. It offers +5 Energy Damage on melee attacks and +35% damage to energy powers. Use the blue glowing portal to leave this level.
Sanctum Sanctorum - The team is temporally transported back to Stark Tower. Talk to Fury about the Ultimo schematics before speaking to Wyatt about changing locations.
- CUTSCENE: Nightcrawler is seen attempting to escape from Dr. Doom's castle. He successfully fights through a squad of Doom Bots before being electrified by Doom.
- In the new headquarters at Dr. Strange's house, pick up the gem sitting to the left before climbing the stairs. Exit into the hallway and follow the passage to the Inner Sanctum.
- After the brief chat with Fury, save and include Dr. Strange on your team for the moment. Having Strange on the team allows access to his bedroom. Look inside to find two focus upgrades. There's also a Strike upgrade in the room with trophies.
- Speak to The Vision to start a mini-quest about finding a book titled A History of the Arcane. Walk up to the Sanctuary and look for the book on a metal walkway to the left. Dr. Strange's Simulator disc is on the walkway to the right.
- TIP: On the metal walkway with the book, walk to the end to find another Daredevil action figure. (4/5)
- Head back downstairs and speak to The Vision about the book. Save the game and work on the new trivia questions. They are worth 200 XP each for a total of 10, 000 XP. Here are the answers:

The Land of the Doomed - Walk into the first hallway and prepare for several Doom Sentry robots to attack. Continue along the hallway until reaching the malfunctioning gates. Figure out the timing of the gates to pass through safely.
- In the next large room, fight more Doom Bots and move to the left side. Climb the stairs and break into the two small rooms to find Mysterio's simulator disc along with a focus upgrade.
- TIP: Look on the opposite side of the room to find a small room containing the final Daredevil action figure. Daredevil is now a playable character. (5/5)
- Leave through the hallway on the right side of the room. Be ready to sprint when the spiked wall starts to close in on the team. Ignore the Doom Bots that pop up and only smash the gates in the way. The Doom Bots are destroyed as the wall approaches.
- TIP: Dash into a room to the right at the end of the hallway. Before moving on, walk back into the spiked wall hallway and press X to push on the wall. It opens a secret area to a Skill point and a treasure chest with the Human Torch's Coil. (+1 Defense, +1 to Inferno)
- Continue onto the next room to fight more Doom Bots. Be careful of the stone engravings of Doom's face on the floor. They shoot fire when walked over. Move through the hallway and up the stairs to find a Strike upgrade on the right.
- Open the next door to find an evil version of Jean Grey. She's a pushover at this point. Simply use melee attacks and special attacks to make her run away. Stay away from energy attacks as she's fairly resistant.
The Plight of the Phoenix - Continue into the door leading to the Big Top and pick up Luke Cage's Simulator disc immediately to the left of the entrance. Walk down the stairs to fight three energy resistant clowns.
- Look to the left to pick up a Body upgrade and bash the nearby cage to free Senator Kelly. Speak to him to fulfill the optional objective. (This is related to the alternate endings)
- Continue along the path to fight some Murder Bots and Arcade clowns. Use quick attacks to demolish the minions. Walk into the tent to fight Jean Grey again. Use the same strategy to end the fight quickly.
- Arcade sends out clowns to the team's location. Kill the large clown first before focusing on the little guys. The clown car releases a coin to collect after the battle.
- Take the coin and stick it into the Pitfall machine in the middle of the arena. The game shifts to the old school Pitfall layout. Move the hero to the right with LS and jump over obstacles with Y. Stay on the top portion until reaching the carousel.
- After exiting Pitfall, Jean Grey is feeling much better. The save point is unlocked as well. This is an excellent time to backtrack to the Circus Boardwalk and save the game.
Murderworld Mayhem - Walk into the Fairgrounds and fight the clowns. Move to the end of the yard and look for a small tent on the right. Pick up a mallet in the tent, move to the gate and hold down A to smash the bell.
- Move through the gate and fight more Murder Bots. Walk to the end of the area to play the Claw Challenge on the left. A four button, quick action instance pops up. Hit the buttons successfully to free a Blade statue. (Blade is now a playable character)
- To the right of Blade, enter the tent and fight more Murder Bots. Swing by the treasure chests on the right to find Moon Knight's Belt (2 Defense, +1 to Crescent Dart) Enter the Maze-O-Death and look to the right for a finger to pull.
- After the finger is pulled, beware of the spinning blade pit to the right. A pit opens each time a finger is pulled in this area. Fight off a couple clowns behind the team to continue.
- Continue pulling fingers and fighting clowns through the maze. Be sure to pick up Elektra's Simulator Disc near one of the pits. Pick up the hammer after the finger has been pulled and open the chest on the left to find Wolverine's Gauntlets. (+2 Damage, +1 to Lethal Lunge)
- Use the hammer to destroy any remaining clowns before smashing the second bell. Continue inside to reach the bumper car arena. Use LS to smash the front end of your bumper car into the enemy cars.
- Pick up the golden ticket and enter the roller coaster area. Fight off three Murder Bots and exit back out to the Big Top. Use the save point before heading into the Pinball area to left of the Pitfall machine.
- The team faces androids of themselves inside the Pinball area. Stay away from the bumpers and flippers to avoid damage. Destroy the wooden slats with Arcade's face to rack up points inside the giant machine.
- Beware of falling bombs in the pinball machine. Look for a red spot on the ground to avoid the blast. Hug the left side until finding a ramp. Head up the ramp to enter into a boss fight with Shocker.
- Shocker has devastating ranged electrical attacks. Try to use quick melee attacks to wear him down. Charged strong attacks also come in handy. After the fight, pick up Shocker's Gloves to receive +10 Electrical Damage to melee attacks.
- After the Shocker fight, walk off the ramp. Keep to the left to find a red Body upgrade. Backtrack a bit to find the picture of Rhino on the floor. Destroy all the wooden slats in the area to open the ramp.
- Defeat Rhino with ranged attacks. Keep your distance, as his melee attacks are painful. Special attacks also work well on Rhino. After he falls, pick up Rhino's Horn for a 10% boost against resistances.
- Destroy the final slats on Rhino's ramp to blow up the flippers near the golden ticket. Grab the ticket, save your game and head back to the Big Top at the nearby exit.
Funhouse - With both golden tickets, the team can now enter the locked Funhouse in the Pitfall machine room. Once inside, head into room three on the right first. Pick up the Strike upgrade inside the last room.
- The door closes behind the team and clowns spawn everywhere. Destroy the barrier in front of the door to halt the clown spawns. Exit out through the original entrance.
- TIP: Before leaving the room, pick up the final Black Panther action figure in front of the green gas leak. (5/5)
- Walk into door number 2 and follow the hallway to a giant game of Breakout. Use X to hold the paddle and bounce the giant ball off the colored blocks. Once the game is finished, door number 1 opens.
- Walk into door number 1 to pull another finger. It blows up and releases six clowns on the team's position. Pass through the next hallways fighting more androids. Stay in the middle of the room to avoid the reach of the Jack-in-the-Box devices.
- Pull the final finger and the floor will fall apart. A giant robot, powered by Arcade, waits below. As the fight begins, stay away from the shockwave foot stomp and head for the red section of the floor marked trap door.
- The trick to this battle is falling into the red glowing trap doors. The hero is shot from a cannon to the top of Arcade's head. Follow the quick action button directions and Arcade smacks himself in the head.
- Repeat this several more times to defeat Arcade and pick up the Joybuzzer. It offers a 5% chance to paralyze victims at the expense of a 5% chance to hurt yourself. Take the portal back to Dr. Strange's home.
Mephisto's Realm - Before leaving for Mephisto's Realm, talk to Weasel about security hacking. He needs to know where to hide from S.H.E.I.L.D. forces. Talk to Professor X and Hank Pym downstairs. Return to tell Weasel that X-Mansion is the safest place.
- Save the game, make any corrections to the team and use the Eye of Teleportation to move to Mephisto's Realm.
- CUTSCENE: Fury is giving a briefing about Nightcrawler being trapped in Mephisto's realm. Doom's forces amplified Nightcrawler's powers to transport them to the underworld.
Mephisto's Flames - Save the game and move left to begin fighting Mephisto's minions. Quick attacks are the key to defeating the low-level enemies. Hug the left side until reaching the first of five stone entrances. Walk down the path and it magically locks behind you.
- Demon Leapers spawn endlessly in this area. Throw five leapers into the fiery pit in the center of the arena. Grab leapers with X and use RS to point the throwing direction. Use the portal in the middle of the fire pit to exit.
- Walk to the S.H.E.I.L.D. symbol and take a left. Look for Blade's simulator disc behind a group of pots. Take a right into the next portal area. The key to unlocking this portal is luring the enemies onto the platform in the center. Kill them on the platform to unlock the portal.
- Follow the northwest point of the pentagram to find the third portal. The key to defeating the zombies that rise from nearby graves is destroying the gravestones. Destroy all four to open the portal. Be sure to grab the experience points on a nearby grave.
- Follow the northeast point of the pentagram to find the fourth portal. Pick up the axe in the center of the arena and chop down the three trees. Destroy the birds to open the portal.
- In the final area, kill the four leapers inside the small room and pick up the torch when the magical barrier falls. There's also a red Body upgrade inside the torch room. Use the torch to light the four unlit fire pits and the portal will unlock.
Vengeance be Mine - Save the game before leaving through the pentagram portal. Walk across the stone bridge to reach four more leapers and the first fire giant. Use melee attacks on the fire giant.
- Cross over the river of fire and head up the stairs. Open the weapon cache at the top of the stairs for Deadpool's bracers. (+3 Damage, +2 to Assassin's Strike) Head left to fight more leapers and pick up the Eye of the Shadow Queen. Look on the opposite side for a skill point.
- Travel over the second stone bridge to fight several more leapers and two more fire giants. Open the weapon cache to pick up Ms. Marvel's bands. (+1 to Damage, +1 to Explosive Touch) Also look for XP behind the cache.
- Walk forward to find Ghost Rider chained to the floor. Travel to the four red X's on the radar to destroy his chains. Each is guarded by two leapers and a fire giant.
- After the chains are broken, Mephisto requires a sacrifice to free Ghost Rider. Switch to a teammate to trade places with Ghost Rider and the team will transport to the Sepulcher.
A Devil in Need - Save the game to the left and proceed into the graveyard. Demonic souls begin attacking the team. They are as fragile as the clay warriors. Explore the area for weapon caches to pick up Storm's Sheaths. (+3 Damage, +2 Whirlwind)
- Move across the stone bridge to kill a fire giant and twenty demonic souls. Look inside the building on the right for a body upgrade and inside the building on the left for Scorpion's Simulator disc.
- Continue along the linear path destroying fire giants and tons of demonic souls. When the two fire giants burst from the tombs, search the left tomb to find a focus upgrade.
- Follow the path until reaching the Blackheart fight. Blackheart is an extremely tough boss due to his energy blasts and floor stomps. He can knock a hero off the arena floor into oblivion. It's not surprising to lose multiple teammates to cheap deaths during this fight.
- The key to defeating Blackheart is destroying the surrounding energy pods with ranged attacks. These pods allow Blackheart to regenerate after death. He also destroys a pod each time he regenerates. Don't use melee attacks on the pods due to a nasty defense mechanism.
- After taking out the pods, focus special melee attacks on Blackheart until he falls. Pick up Blackheart's Corruption after the battle to gain 5% of damage dealt back as health and energy.
- Walk up the staircase after the fight to release either Jean Grey or Nightcrawler. (It doesn't make any difference in the story)
Evil Schemes - Take the portal into the Abyss to meet Mephisto. Before racing through enemies, double jump to an island on the left to find Ghost Rider's Simulator Disc.
- Move north along the path and avoid all the spawning enemies. Destroy the gate ahead to funnel the enemies into a smaller space. Use AOE attacks and continue fighting until the purple glowing energy hole opens up.
- Jump down to fight Mephisto. Mephisto is more annoying than dangerous. He uses a fear attack that sends all heroes running from his position. He also uses a fire shield to protect him from damage. Use ranged attacks on his position.
- The trick to finishing the first portion of the fight is damaging Mephisto enough so he draws a sword. With sword in hand, hit X to launch into a timed button instance. If successful, the hero will rip the sword from Mephisto. Use it to slash the purple glowing statues and repeat this process four more times.
- Mephisto spawns either Jean Grey or Nightcrawler to fight the team, but concentrate on Mephisto first. Once his health bar is low enough, it will turn purple again.
- Focus on the spawned X-Man now. Once the health bar falls below 50%, they will exact revenge on Mephisto to save the team. Pick up the Heart of Mephisto before leaving. It absorbs 10% of attack damage and converts it to health.
Courtyard of the Gods - The team temporarily teleports back to Dr. Strange's home. Finish any remaining trivia questions and use the Eye of Telportation to move to Valhalla.
- CUTSCENE: Loki is outside Asgard giving another long speech. He's commanding an army of monsters to retake Asgard for himself. The monsters run on Asgard and a lone Viking warrior moves into the battlefield to meet the entire lot.
- There is a Strike upgrade on a house to the rear of the Trivia machine. Use the nearby platform to summon Hermod. He will give you a quest to open the gate to Midgard.

Dragon Fang - Look to the left at the starting point to find Storm's Simulator disc on a nearby stone. Move forward to fight several low level enemies in the form of undead Vikings. Take a right at the first intersection and a left onto the docked ship.
- TIP: On the docked ship, look to the right to find XP points.
- Continue on the stone path and follow it up the ramp on the left. Enter a fight with more undead Vikings. Be careful to watch for finishing combos during the fight.
- When the path diverges into three sections, move through the left side. Take the stone stairs down to a puzzle. Match the symbol on the floor plates with the symbol on the large statues. Hold X to drag the statues to the plates.
- After the stones are in place, move a hero over symbols on the floor. A stone walkway is lowered to walk over. Follow the path to kill two Viking archers and three more Viking warriors.
- Once the team reaches the grassy area, look to the rear of the island to find the Dragon Fang sword.
The Gate of the Gods - Use the gear in the center of the island with the sword. A gate moves closer to the heroes. Walk up to it and press X to enter Midgard Gate.
- Approach the corner and take a left. The following path is a long journey up a bridge with Vikings, firetraps and projectiles. Before moving north, turn around to pick up Spider-Man's Simulator disc at the start of the bridge.
- Head north up the bridge. Beware of fire shooting from the two snakeheads. Watch the timing of the fire streams to gauge when it's safe to move.
- Continue to the opposite side and lower a wooden drawbridge by pressing X. The only obstacle on this section of the bridge is a row of large fireballs moving rapidly toward the team's direction. Weave in and out of the fireballs to avoid death.
- TIP: You can also hug the left or right side of the bridge to avoid fireballs. Once the team reaches the end of the bridge, be sure to save the game at the S.H.E.I.L.D. point.
- The heroes have found the Wrecking Crew team of super-villains. They are comprised of Thunderball, Wrecker, Piledriver and Bulldozer. This can be a tough fight if you rely on hand-to-hand combat.
- Use up any AOE attacks first. Look for a couple axes lying on the ground and pick one up. Use it to slash away at any member of the Wrecking Crew. Try using ranged attacks with a flying character as well. The Wrecking Crew is all melee and does not handle ranged attacks very well.
- After demolishing the Wrecking Crew, pick up Wrecker's Crowbar. It offers a +15% chance to reflect projectiles and +5% melee damage. Open the gate to end this portion of the level.
Courtyard of the Gods II - Move to the previously locked Warrior's Hall. Pick up the focus upgrade sitting outside and speak to the Viking in front of the entrance.
- Once inside, walk to the opposite end of the room. Pick up the Skill point on the throne, Thor's simulator disc to left of the throne and the XP points to the right of the throne.
- Weasel needs your help again. He requires another password to hack into the laptop. Speak to Hank Pym outside near Fury's location. Return to Weasel and tell him to use Ivan Petrovitch for the password.
- Talk to Deadpool for the most entertaining conversation in the game and head back out to the main area. It's time to leave for Asgard. The entrance is to the right of Warrior's Hall when exiting.
Asgard - CUTSCENE: Loki is offering another long-winded speech to Doom's gallery of villains. Loki believes that he will kill Thor and his friends when entering Asgard.
Balder the Brave - Move to the left from the entrance and assault Loki's trolls when the yellow force fields rise. The trolls are susceptible to quick attacks and special attacks when blocking.
- Pick up the Hammer of Vidar and travel to the anvil ahead. Look to the left of the anvil to pick up a red Body upgrade. Follow the narrow grassy path until reaching a save point on the right.
- Save the game and approach the closed door. Press X to open it and several trolls will spawn. The fight continues until the statues spawning the trolls start to explode.
- Eventually a lightning bolt strikes the gate open. Pass through the gate to see Balder chained to a pair of rocks. Fight off the trolls in the area and head into the left door first.
Freeing the God of War - Check out the statue and head north to be ambushed by Super Soldiers. Fight them using a variety of special attacks and follow the hallway. Kill the two wolves and hang a right to meet a Super Soldier Lieutenant.
- TIP: Try to use ranged attacks on the Lieutenant or perhaps daze him before a melee barrage.
- Walk out into the next hallway. Take a right to grab a wooden cube. Drag the cube to the opposite end and down the dark hallway opposite from the door. It triggers a pressure plate to open the door. Walk inside to collect the Hand of Tyr.
- Continue to a room with a large pit of boiling lava. Place Tyr's hand in the mouth of Fenris. It's near the hilt of the giant sword. Walk across the sword to battle more wolves and Super Soldiers.
- In an upcoming room, look for a gray statue to slide onto a pressure plate on the opposite side of the room. (It won't trigger anything until this objective is complete.) Head into the Great Forge.
- Inside the Great Forge, Scorpion and Lizard are holding Tyr chained above a pit of bubbling lava. Use any available AOE attack on the duo, but focus on Scorpion first with special melee attacks. Once he is down, the Lizard is a pushover.
- Tyr can't be released until the lava is cooled. Take the passage to the left and pick a fight with the trolls. After the majority is finished off, look to the left to find the Invisible Woman's Simulator disc.
- Continue along the path and battle numerous groups of trolls. Look for a save point ahead. To the right of the save point, look for the Great Forge down a set of stairs.
- Pick up the metal ingot on the table, place it into the forge and tap X to use the bellows. Go back to the table to pick up tongs. Use the tongs in the forge and move the molten ingot to the anvil. Pick up the hammer on the table and pound the ingot on the anvil.
- The team is rewarded with the powerful Asgard Armor. It offers +50% elemental damage resistance and +50% to Electricity Damage powers.
- Continue around the room and fight four trolls at the top of the stairs. In the following room, look for a Strike upgrade on the left side of the room and a Body upgrade on the right side.
- Follow the path until the team reaches a large water cauldron overlooking a pit of lava. Tap X at the rope connected to the bucket to release the water into the pit. Backtrack to Tyr's position and use the two levers to release him.
- Speak to Tyr and take the portal back outside to Balder.
Unleash the Guardian - Enter the door on the right and fight a couple rounds of clay guardians. Move through the hallways until a Super Soldier blocks off the doors. Destroy the statues to the left and right to halt the enemy spawns.
- When the team reaches the door with two axes on either side, move into the right hallway to take out Super Soldiers. Spin the statue twice so it faces north. Backtrack to the hallway on the left and spin that lever three times. The second statue needs to face west.
- Continue through the open wooden doorway to fight several rooms of clay warriors. The axe comes in handy and typically takes out the warriors with a couple blows. When the team reaches the room with the statue in the middle, push the statue to the pressure plate on the opposite side of the room.
- Enter the newly opened door to pick up Strike and Focus upgrades. There is also XP inside the nearby chest.
- Backtrack and move into the Grand Hall. Fight through several groups of trolls and take the left path when the hallway splits in two directions. Look for the three red X's on the radar for navigation.
- From the dining hall, take a left down a long hallway and the room shuts behind the team. The room can be unlocked by smashing open the areas with the yellow arrow and pulling blocks to the pressure plates that match their symbol.
- TIP: Look on the top of the stone area in the middle to pick up a Focus upgrade.
- Once the three blocks are in place, the path reopens and a force field guarding another door is released. Move to the right hallway from the dining hall to reach the second force field room.
- Three trolls will run off with three pieces of a metal rune. Simply track each of them down using the radar and return the rune to the center hallway. Move back through the dining hall and use the two control consoles to lower the force field.
- The team moves into the room that houses Heimdall in a frozen block of ice. Shocker and Rhino are guarding him. Take each villain one at a time to annihilate them efficiently. Use ranged attacks on Rhino and melee on Shocker.
- After the fight, move to the left and right sides of the room to raise the caged areas. Move around the room aligning mirrors to melt the ice around Heimdall.
- Heimdall wants you to look for his horn. Travel back to the opposite end of the dining hall. Walk through the short passage to find the horn across a small chasm.
- Pick up Deadpool's Simulator disc to the left and switch to a flying character to safely retrieve the horn. Take the horn back to Heimdall and use the portal to transport the team back to Baldar's position.
Liberating the Brave - As the team frees Baldar, the Enchantress and the Executioner attack. This battle is dependent on the speed at which the team takes out the Enchantress. She can heal the Executioner during the fight. Avoid contact with the Executioner until she is dead.
- Use melee attacks on both characters. After the fight, pick up the Executioner's Axe for double damage on finishers and the Aura of Seduction for a 5% chance that melee hits turn enemies into allies.
- Use the center doorway behind Baldar's previous position to return to the Courtyard of the Gods.
Niffleheim - Walk to the Warrior's Hall to speak to Weasel before leaving for Niffleheim. A short story wrap-up will occur about Black Widow's laptop. It turns out that the entire subplot was just a misunderstanding. Finish up any remaining trivia, save the game and hop in the well to Niffleheim.
- CUTSCENE: Dr. Doom is giving a threatening motivational speech to his troops. The power of Odin is in their grasp.
A Favor for Prophetess - Move forward to battle the first group of undead warriors. Use punch combos to defeat them quickly. Take a left at the bonfire to find a Strike upgrade. Jump over the gap in the snow to fight five more Vikings.
- Move to the right to battle a new enemy, the Dark Elf Striker. Use quick attacks and combos to defeat them quickly. Try to pick up one of their spears for even faster deaths.
- Follow the snowy path and defeat the various groups of Dark Elves. Look for a focus upgrade in the path on the left side. Pass over the snowy bridge to reach Ulik and Kurse.
- This is an extremely tough battle due to Ulik's heavy resistance to melee attacks. Use a flying character to assault him with ranged attacks. Try to kill Kurse quickly to avoid their dual attacks. Use up any special attacks or a Dark Elf's spear on them as well.
- Pick up Ulik's Fists for a +10% chance for critical attacks and Dark Elf Armor for +25% defense along with a stunning mode for melee attackers. Move forward to fight more Dark Elves and Vikings.
- Once the team reaches the cabin, look into the campfire to find the key for the chest. Backtrack to the Ulik and Kurse fight to open the chest. Vollo's ring is inside.
- Head back to the cabin to save the game and pick up Shocker's Simulator disc opposite from the S.H.E.I.L.D. point. Move into the Battleground area.
Saviors to the King - Move up the mountain and push the large boulder on the right. Light the signal fire by pressing X at the torch. At the first set of enemies, try to grab a spear from a Dark Elf to fight the Frost Giants ahead.
- Continue up the mountain lighting fires on the right side of the small pond. Try to race up the hill quickly to destroy the catapults. Look for a catapult on the left side to use. It blows open a passage with a red Body upgrade.
- Continue up the mountain to find the broken Twilight sword. Move north to enter Ymir's Domain. Travel up the mountain unopposed until reaching Ymir.
- This battle uses quick action button instances to defeat Ymir. When a Frost Giant appears, kill it quickly and pick up the spear with X. When Ymir swing his icy spiked club into the ground, jump into the club and hit the quick action button presses.
- Repeat this process until Ymir falls. His attacks aren't painful unless you get too close. Continue up the mountain into Spire's Ascent.
- Walk up the snowy path to fight the Dark Elves. Fight a Frost Giant at the stone bridge and look to the left to spot Spider-Woman's Simulator disc. Use a flying character to grab it safely.
- Continue up the path and battle the Frost Giants. After the second stone bridge, look to the right to find a Strike upgrade. Look for a Focus upgrade on the left just after the third stone bridge.
- Save at the upcoming S.H.E.I.L.D. point and revive any missing teammates. Move forward to face off against Baron Mordo and Ultron. Use AOE attacks and special attacks to make short work of the duo; melee is preferred.
- Since the ring quest was finished, the correct spear is sparkling. Choose the fourth spear from the left and walk over to the barrier to dispel it. Backtrack to use the save point before climbing Raven's Spire.
- Loki is located at Raven's Spire. This can be a tough fight if you prolong battling Loki. Loki spawns wolves and Frost Giants to attack the team. Ignore his minions and focus all special attacks on Loki.
- TIP: Beware of Loki's teleporting skills on the battlefield. He vanishes in the middle of an attack to reappear behind you. Try to keep a lock on his position at all times.
- After the fight, pick up Loki's Gift and sell it. (Reduces Attack Damage by 25% and Increases Damage Taken by 25%!) Use the portal to return to the Warrior's Hall.
Battling the God of Lies - The armor Loki spoke of is inside the Warrior's Hall. Move into the first blue portal on the left side of the room to retrieve a sword. Simply place all three teammates on the pressures plates and use the fourth to retrieve the sword.
- Enter the portal on the opposite side. There is a dancing sword that runs from your grasp. Instead of following it, move into the portal opposite of it. The sword can be picked up in the next room.
- In the next portal on the right, climb a snowy mountainside. Be careful to avoid the streams of icy air shooting from the holes in the mountain. The sword is at the top of the mountain.
- In the final portal on the left side of the room, follow the path outlined by the dark brown tiles. The sword is sitting on the opposite side.
- Activate the swords to free the Destroyer Armor. Nick Fury was actually Loki in disguise. Don't bother attempting to fight the Destroyer's Armor. Head for any nearby portal instead.
- The team is looking for the portal with Loki's frozen egg shape. Search the portal rooms and kill the trolls along the way. Once the team finds Loki, wait for the Destroyer Armor to appear. Fight the Armor with special attacks until it bursts into pieces.
- Grab the Norn Stones for a +15% XP boost and a +30% credit boost. Take the blue portal inside the room.
- CUTSCENE: The group of superheros are suddenly zapped to an unknown location. The alien known as Uatu the Watcher brought them to this location to save their lives from Dr. Doom's newly found Power of the Gods. The team has to battle Galactus to find a new power source to defeat Doom.
Attilan - Walk around the room of the new base to find Body, Focus and Strike upgrades. Travel to the Royal Court to speak to Crystal. She wants you to talk to Hank Pym about finding her sister.
- Walk back to the original area to speak to Hank about Crystal's sister. Also speak with Nick Fury and Black Widow about the Nullifier. Return to Crystal and tell her that Medusa is likely at Muir Island.
- Time for more Trivia game questions! Look for the console near The Watcher's location. Each question is worth 800 XP for a grand total of 40, 000 XP. Here are the answers:

Shi'ar Empire - CUTSCENE: Nick Fury is giving a briefing about finding a powerful crystal to stop Dr. Doom. The queen of the Shi'ar Empire is expected to offer the super team the crystal peacefully.
Full Stop - Corsair appears to show the team how to activate a force field. Save the game at the S.H.E.I.L.D. point and travel north to fight a few low-level Shi'ar soldiers. Continue down the middle of the path and move the metal cubes sitting in front of the staircase.
- TIP: Grab a spear from a Shi'ar soldier. It's more effective for killing large groups of men.
- The path to the left is blocked. Turn right at the stairs and enter a large room. There are soldiers on the platform below the team and on the walkway above. Move across the hall towards the passage that was blocked. Iceman's Simulator disc is sitting near the blocked door.
- Don't bother entering the Port or Starboard Crew Quarters at the first entrance as a Shi'ar soldier blocks off the entrance with a force field. Move to the opposite end of the docking bay instead.
- At the end of the bay, a soldier releases two force fields on the docking bay floor. Move to a control panel on the right side to reactivate the force fields. Assault the remaining enemy soldiers and take the Port Crew Quarters door to the left.
- Fight off the handful of soldiers inside and deactivate a force field. Repeat this process on the Starboard side and pick up the Strike upgrade tucked away in the corner of the room with the console.
- Walk back into the main bay and exit to the Power Core. Walk along the metal walkway to fight a group of soldiers. On the opposite side, two soldiers will trigger a locking mechanism and split up in two directions.
- Follow the soldier on the left first. The path veers around a corner on a metal walkway and he attempts to hide in a locked room ahead. Fight off any soldiers in the area and break open the door. Kill him to collect the keycard.
- Repeat the process on the right side. The soldier holding the keycard is at the end of the path surrounded by two soldiers. Look for Ultron's Simulator disc in the area as well.
- Backtrack to the locked door and use two teammates to open it via the nearby consoles. Use the save point inside the next room and continue over the metal walkway to an elevator.
- At the bottom of the lift, Gladiator challenges the team. He cannot be damaged when flying in the air. His attacks involve pinpoint laser blasts and ground-pounding slams.
- Choose a speedy teammate and race around the room to activate the four consoles with arrows above them. Gladiator is brought to ground level after the consoles are active. Immediately use any AOE attacks on him before launching into special attacks exclusively.
- Repeat this pattern until Gladiator is dead. Pick up the Imperial Mantle for an impressive +6 points to Body, Focus and Strike. Walk to the opposite end of the room to pick up a red Body upgrade on the left.
- Continue down the short hall to the north and enter the Outer Hull.
Weapons of War - Walk to the right to meet Starbolt and Warstar. Starbolt is a villain that uses fiery ranged attacks and Warstar is a melee-loving robot. Use ranged attacks on both characters. Be careful of Starbolt's explosion ability to avoid knock backs.
- Pick up the Shi'ar Battle Armor for a reflection of 10% Melee damage and Starbolt's Flame for 5 points of fire damage to all melee attacks along with +35% damage with Fire powers.
- Continue to the right to destroy the shield generator that covers the guns. Climb the large metal structure to the rear of the generator and bust through a glass ceiling to pick up Ulik's Simulator disc.
- Look for the three nearby red X's on the radar. Drop down to destroy the first three guns. Continue to the right to rotate the satellite dish as well. Move to the right to destroy three more gun turrets and a few pesky soldiers.
- Follow the radar to the final red X and smash the last gun. Move south to enter the Observation Deck.
The Pawns and the Princess - Use the save point just inside the Observation Deck. Move north to find another boss fight. The team has to face Hussar and Neutron. Use up any AOE attacks before launching into a barrage of quick attacks. This fight is more annoying than difficult.
- Pick up Hussar's Whip for +25 Health on each Knockout and head to the north. You can also go back to save the game. The upcoming room houses Deathbird and another boss fight.
- Hit Deathbird with ranged attacks when she flies around the room. Use melee when she lands in the middle of the team. Eventually she picks up a hero and a quick action button instance pops up. Hit the correct buttons to damage Deathbird further.
- When Deathbird starts sucking energy from the crystal in the middle of the room, smack the crystal. This action halts the process and she can be damaged again. After the fight, pick up Deathbird's Feather for +5 Health Regeneration.
- Look for a red Body upgrade in the room and use the exit to move into the Science section.
- Upon entering the room, Deathbird activates a self-destruct timer for the facility. Immediately take a left down the first passage. Avoid all the extraneous soldiers and smash the power supply in the corner of the room. All power supplies are marked with a red X on the radar.
- Smashing a power supply adds 30 seconds to the timer. Follow the passage to the right over a series of metal grates. Destroy a second power supply and continue into the following room to destroy a third.
- Look for Princess Lilandra chained to a holding mechanism. In order to save her, destroy the console to the right of her position. Keep an eye on the countdown timer. This console is extremely strong and requires your entire energy bar for special attacks.
- After the console is destroyed, you should have about 30 seconds on the timer. Move into the next room to destroy a fourth power supply.
- Once the team sees Deathbird again, move around the room to smash the four consoles. There are no more time boosts, so be quick about it. After the chat with Lilandra, move back out into the hallway and travel to the right into an unexplored passage.
- Use the console to disable the force field around the crystal. Walk to the bottom floor to hit the crystal before leaving through the Royal Library portal.
Skrull Planet - While in the Royal Library, save the game and finish up any remaining trivia questions. Find the slobbering pooch for transport to the Skrull home world.
- CUTSCENE: Nick Fury is briefing the crew about the attack on Galactus. The team is being sent to steal one of Galactus's tools (the Muonic Inducer) to harness the crystal's power. The Skrull are expected to be hostile to any human presence.
To Weaken a Giant - TIP: The lanterns on the left and right sides of the walkway are excellent for dispatching several enemies quickly. Press X to rip one off. The axes that the Skrull warriors carry also work well.
- Move north to the first batch of Skrull warriors. Use melee attacks to end this battle quickly. Continue north to find a shield generator to the right. Destroy it and move on.
- TIP: Kill the commandos with guns first. They have the ability to revive fallen warriors.
- Head into the first small room to fight more Skrull warriors. Look for Piledriver's Simulator disc at the end of the hallway. Take the passage to the right and enter a second battle. Look for XP on the platform to the left.
- Follow the radar north to the next red X and destroy the second generator. This is a great spot to throw enemies off the walkway into the abyss. Follow the pathway up the staircase and through the enemies to find the third shield generator.
- Look for a red Body upgrade to the left of the third generator and continue into Aeronautics.
A Helping Hand - The heroes run into Super Skrull, Paibok and the Skrull Empress inside Aeronautics. Instead of launching into a fight, the Empress poses a deal. She wants the team to open the hanger door in exchange for information about Galactus.
- Choose one of the two flunkies as your guide to the hanger controls. Move through the maze of rooms to reach the control console. Expect to fight three or four low level enemies per room.
- Look for a focus upgrade in a small room with breakable walls. It's right before the room with the save point. Continue down the winding hallways and cross the walkway to reach the hanger control.
- Exit the room on the right and chat with the Empress. She reveals her duplicity after the doors open. She exits the area and leaves the two minions to clean up the mess.
- Paibak can make this fight extremely tough. His freezing attack slows the team's attack speed and stuns them in a block of ice. Use ranged attacks and special attacks on Paiback first. Super Skrull will fall easily afterward with melee attacks.
- Leave at the open hanger into the Cityscape.
Weapon of the Gods - The Cityscape is a metal walkway that covers the city. Galactus is in the background stomping on buildings. Walk around the first corner and pick up Ms. Marvel's Simulator disc.
- Move along the bridge and try to avoid the red glowing sections. They indicate an incoming bomb strike. Steal an axe to make short work of the upcoming forces.
- Watch for a giant drill to the right of the heroes. Nick Fury will mention something about destroying it. Bash the three glowing blue X's to destroy the first drill.
- Look for a red Body upgrade on the left at the upcoming corner. Continue down the path fighting enemies with lampposts and axes. At the second drill, use an AOE or ranged attack to blow up the four blue X's.
- Race down the bridge and avoid the enemies. Take a left after the Galactus conversation to find Human Torch's Simulator disc. Continue to the right and exit into the Heights of Progress.
- Pull the stone tablet on the left away from the corner and push it up against the rear wall. Use it to reach Dragonman's Simulator disc and a save point. Move through the opening passage to fight leapers.
- Head down the ramp to fight more soldiers. Titannus will challenge the team at the bottom of the ramp. He's more concerned with destroying the Skrull's lab than the human super heroes. Use AOE and ranged attacks to defeat him quickly. Pick up the Helmet of Titannus for +50 Health and +10 Striking. (Great for a melee character)
- Continue through the lab to release a Skrull scientist. He will award any hero with a free level. Leave out the door to the north.
- Galactus is smashing the cityscape bridge as the heroes flee to the right. If Galactus happens to grab a hero, tap A to be released. Don't bother stopping to fight enemies. Continue along the linear path destroying any obstacle in the way.
- When Galactus stops to shoot a building, wait for a chunk of the building to form a ramp. Walk up the ramp and over the second building to reach the opposite side. Continue avoiding the low-level enemies and run along the path.
- Silver Surfer appears at the end of the platform to help out. The goal of this section is to activate the three consoles with little green arrows. Start on the right side and work clockwise to activate all three. Be sure to jump when Galactus smashes his hand on the walkway to avoid knockdown.
- The game launches into a quick action button instance with Silver Surfer after the consoles are active. Hit all the correct buttons to damage Galactus. After he reels back in pain, repeat the entire process a few times to end the battle.
- Pick up the Armor of Galactus for 10% damage absorption and use the portal to end the level.
Doomstark - Save the game and talk to the pooch to return to Earth.
- CUTSCENE: Since the team left, Dr. Doom has annihilated mankind's military forces. As for the super-hero effort, Dr. Doom is seen killing Cyclops and turning Colossus into a slave.
Iron Marathon - The team arrives back at Stark Tower and needs to clean out Doom's presence in the building. Run around the room to reactivate the three control consoles marked by a red X.
- Doom Bots break through the wall and kidnap Fury. Save the game and move into Iron Man's Lab. More Doom Bots will crash through the walls to attack the team. These enemies are easy to defeat with any attack, but there are tons of them.
- TIP: Be liberal in using the team AOE attacks. The momentum is high during the fight and that meter rises quickly.
- Head back into the main tower after the timer expires. Go to the opposite side of the room to chat with Hank Pym. He can create an extra layer of protection for the team with the right parts. Pick up the nearby red Body upgrade before leaving.
- Pick up the technical manual on the table in the center conference area. Move up to the platform with the Trivia machine to pick up the magnetic dampener on the bar. There's also a Focus upgrade on the platform.
- Return to Hank and he builds an electrical device for the team's protection. Move back to the trivia machine to finish the last bout of questions. Each correct answer is worth 1250 XP for about 60, 000 XP in total. Here are the answers:

- Save the game and speak to Fury to travel to Castle Doom.
Dr. Doom's Castle - CUTSCENE: The heroes are on Fury's plane headed to Castle Doom. Dr. Doom has to be stopped otherwise reality will tear itself apart and trillions of lives will be lost.
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Sabretooth from GamesPress The Hand of Doom - There are no enemies in the opening of the level. Simply walk north and follow the staircases when formed. Pass over a stone walkway that continues to build as the heroes walk over it.
- Doom poses a puzzle in the next room. Instead of playing into his hand, simply click X at the door you entered from. Jump into the pit directly ahead. Climb up the stairs to get a peek at Doom's statue and all the upgrade goodies.
- Examine the statue by pressing X. The upgrades aren't accessible until the green lights around the statue are extinguished. Walk up the staircase and take the unlocked door to the left into Doom's Lair.
- Move to the opposite side of the room to fight Doom Bots and a version of the Ultimo robot. Use the tapestries to climb out of the center if thrown in. Move through the hall into the next series of small rooms.
- Kill the Doom Bots scattered around the area. Look for a small room on the right with a skill point. Move to the opposite side of the room to find a bookcase that reveals a hidden passage.
- Move through the skinny stone hallways and look for a save point on the right. Use it and continue into the center chamber for a battle against dark versions of Captain America and Colossus.
- Try to pin Captain America in a corner of the room. His shield attack will send the team into a daze. Use ranged attacks on Colossus and avoid his painful melee attacks. Pick up Dark Steel (+25% Defense) and the Super Soldier Serum (+10% to Health) before fighting the incoming Doom Bots.
- Pass through the last hallway to pick up Doom's gauntlets. The team falls through the floor and into a lower level of Castle Doom.
The Armor of Doom - Climb the staircase to take out the Doomsmen. Switch to another character when a Doomsman uses telekinesis powers.
- Save at the top of the stairs and move into the next room to battle dark versions of Psylocke and Cyclops. Fortunately the pair splits up. Fight Psylocke first and use special attacks to tear her apart. Pick up Crimson Dawn (+35 Energy per Knockout, +50% mental resistance) and fall off the ledge.
- The screen will flip and the team will be facing Cyclops. Corner Cyclops with melee attacks and avoid his ranged blasts. Flip back to the other side to exit the arena into the Hall of Arms.
- Walk to the end of the hall and pick up the armor of Doom. Fight off the eight Doom Bots that spawn and try to pick up the armor again. Leave via the exit into Doom's Lab.
The Face of Doom - Fight through a legion of Doom Bots to the opposite side of the lab. Enter the small room and follow the passage to the left. Walk to the opposite side to pick up the Ultimate Nullifier. A red X marks it.
- Continue along the hallways and avoid the green lightning traps. Similar to the firetraps, it just requires timing to pass through safely. Look for a save point ahead to use.
- To move over the spinning walkway, use a flying character to avoid needless deaths. Fight through more Doom Bots to find Odin trapped at the red X marker. Dark versions of Thor and Spider-Man appear in front of the Mask of Doom.
- Use special attacks on Dark Spider-Man and ranged attacks on Dark Thor. Try to avoid Spidey's web attacks and Thor's AOE thunder strikes.
- After the fight, pick up Dark Uru Hammer for +10 Electricity damage and +50% increase for Electrical powers. (Great for Storm!)
- Pick up Dark Thor's hammer to bash open Odin's prison and fight off the remaining Doom Bots. Grab the Mask of Doom and exit at the top of the stairs.
To Battle a God - Load up on the upgrades near the statue and save the game before the final battle. Use the green portal to transport the team to Doom's throne.
- Before Dr. Doom fights the heroic task force, they have to face dark versions of the Fantastic Four. This group isn't a pushover. Start the battle with AOE attacks while the dark characters are bunched together.
- Use ranged attacks on The Thing and Mr. Fantastic. Both use melee attacks and Mr. Fantastic has quite a range due to his elastic body. Force these two enemies to follow your team around the room. Use the balconies on each corner for slight protection.
- Kill the other two members of the Fantastic Four with melee attacks. Try to stay away from the middle of the arena. Doom has an AOE zapping attack that knocks all characters away from his throne.
- After the four have been vanquished, wait for Doom to speak. He's recharging his power from the four stations around the room. Walk up to each and bash it a couple times to halt the connection. Be careful of a dark Fantastic Four member that spawns from broken charging station.
- Move to the center of the room after the charging stations are demolished. Doom will grab a hero and a quick action button instance will occur. Hit the correct button and a portion of Doom's power will be ripped away from him.
- Dr. Doom is thrown to the ground and he immediately surrounds himself with more spawns of the Fantastic Four. He's incredibly tough to pinpoint with ranged attacks and he can knock back melee attacks with a blast of energy. He also moves extremely quickly around the room.
- TIP: The fastest way to kill Doom is using a character with a knockdown attack. Wolverine, for instance, has an attack that pins an enemy to the ground while slashing with his claws.
- Use this type of attack nonstop to remove any response time for Doom's attacks. Switch to ranged attacks when running out of energy. Ignore the Fantastic Four members and concentrate all efforts on Doom. Use AOE attacks when the team has enough momentum.
- CUTSCENE: Dr. Doom is seen outside standing in the rain. Doom's power is sapped from him and Odin strikes Doom with a massive lightning bolt. Fury is seen thanking the heroes for their service and disbanding the task force. The heroes leave Fury and Galactus is seen threatening Earth.

Achievement Tips - If you followed the walkthrough, you have already knocked out about half of the achievements and gained around 550 gamerscore points. Here are some strategies to completing the rest of the achievements:
- Surf's Up: To unlock Silver Surfer, complete all the Simulator disc missions and score a bronze rating on each. This can be completed after finishing the game.
- Golden Age of Comics: Use easy difficulty to complete all the simulator disc missions with a gold rating. Focus on using quick attacks to demolish any enemies quickly during the mission and try to race through the small levels. Expend all your energy on special attacks when reaching the final boss.
- The Ultimate Super Hero & Widowmaker: This can be finished at the same time. Load up Mephisto's Realm and move to the first hall on the left with the leapers. As long as you don't throw a leaper into the fire pit, they will spawn indefinitely. Use a large character to get an excellent grasp on the leapers and throw them into the abyss. After achieving 500 throws, continue to kill leapers normally. The 4000 death achievement shouldn't be far off if you completed the game at least once.
- Good Samaritan: Change the team to include only Invisible Woman. Use her invisibility to pass through the Cityscape level unharmed.
- Costume Achievements: To unlock all the costumes for the heroes and villains in the regular game and downloadable content, you have to rack up kills with each character and complete Simulator disc mission. The first costume is awarded at 30 kills, the second at 175 and the last at 250. Use the Asgard simulation mission to rack up kills with the unlimited Viking spawns.
- Mutant Love: Before playing Pitfall in Murderworld, switch out the team members to include Cyclops. It unlocks after the team rescues Jean Grey
- Doppelgänger: Include Dr. Doom in your party before entering the portal at Doom's statue in the final level. It unlocks after the team reaches the final boss fight.
- Wrong Claws: Include Sabretooth in the team when confronting Gladiator in the Shi-ar empire. It unlocks after he is mistaken for Wolverine during the conversation.
- Fleeting Allies: Before transporting to Mephisto's Realm, include Magneto in your party. Professor X will have a conversation with Magneto at the opening of the level.
