Firmness is given as an ILD rating. ILD is short for Indentation Load Deflection and is the amount of power in pounds required to produce a 1 inch indentation in the foam. Measuring ILD is performed by positioning a 50-inch disc onto a segment of foam that is measured at 4 by 15 by 15 inches. The amount of weight in pounds it takes to drive the foam down a single inch is its ILD score. If it requires 14 pounds of load to compress the foam down an inch its ILD rating is 14. Bedding that has a lower-numbered ILD rating or score is softer.
Lying on a traditional spring mattress will increase the force on certain locations such as the shoulders and hips. A memory foam mattress will distribute the total body weight of an individual more uniformly and over a larger area. This will lower the percentage of pressure in any one area which can result in a more restful snooze and decreased joint or back discomfort.
One of the negative aspects to this type of mattress is its high price as they can get rather costly. This is the reason why the memory foam topper is so widespread, because it is a great deal cheaper than a full-sized mattress and can be placed on top of the existing bed. Unfortunately, because of their slimness they will normally wear out quicker. If you are not sure about spending the additional money to pay for a full memory foam mattress, sometimes called a memory foam latex mattress incorrectly, you can get started with the topper to see if it agrees with you. If you sleep better with the bed topper you can always take the next step and get the full mattress.
One memory foam trait is that it retains heat and is the reason why many people do not want to get a memory foam mattress. When a person sleeps on one of these foam mattresses it will originally feel stiff. Afterward, when the body heat transfers to the foam it will begin to become softer, causing it to mold to the individual's body curves.

I want to buy a foam latex mask for halloween but I don't know if it will turn out right?
Last halloween, I wanted to do a foam latex appliance thing for a costume, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money, so I got http://amphigory.com/latex_appliance_android.html that. I was able to put it on my head just fine and cover it in makeup, but it was still an obvious appliance. I couldn't blend in the edges enough to make it look real, like in the photo.
This year I have more money and I want to do a full latex mask, like the ones here http://screamteamorder.stores.yahoo.net/screamteampr.html (I want to do "Shredd"), but I don't know how I will be able to match my skin color perfectly and blend in the edges, plus I don't know how well I'll be able to paint the mask to make it look real. I really don't want to waste any money, so does anyone here have experience or tips for this? Thanks!
