Peel away, custom look alike masks?
I want to see the look on my bosses face, if I walk in and sit down in his chair this halloween, with a mask that looks almost identical to his own face. Is this possible? Even if not for my bosses face, could I MAKE my own masks, and style them after friends and family? I have seen some of the silicon special effects masks people wear on youtube, but those are all standard, mass produced masks. I am interested in them, but i'm more interested in something a little more custom.
I am on a budget however, and I cannot afford any of the $500 dollar, high-end sf masks on the market, but I'm wondering if there are cheap, mask making kits I might buy, and learn how to make them myself? Surely it cannot be THAT hard? I know of a few sites, but, honestly I have work tonight, and I don't want to spend all morning going through websites. If anyone has a specific website you could direct me to, or have first-hand experience with this type of thing, I would be most grateful for any help and/or suggestions. What alternatives to Sony Vegas Pro are there for Macbook Pro?
I'm hunting around for a video editing program thats like Sony Vegas Pro (but is NOT Final Cut Pro, iMovie, or Adobe Premiere). What alternatives are there?
(Btw main features I'm looking into- special effects, masking, text, and flexible amount of file formats)
